There's something haunting about "Cocoa Hooves" that unleashes such a strange, unbridled rage within me, but it isn't my own. Makes me think of a gentle soul that got pushed too far, one too many times; a line was crossed, and something finally snapped. This is the point of no return.
Not many songs manage to project such a clear, vivid movie in my head - complete with a well-established storyline & even a specific color scheme - quite like this one.
"Agnes" will always have a special place in my heart & I'd give anything to listen to it for the first time again; that's a core memory right there.
"Whirlwind" gives me an out-of-body experience every single time, without fail.
It makes me feel like I can breathe through the pores of my skin.
