I'm surprised that they sound this.. Weezer-like on their twentieth record. TWENTIETH!! Rivers still basically sounds like he did like 30 years ago (I've only listened to Blue and Pinkerton), that dude's 55! I don't know who Wednesday is but whatever they contributed to the song was good, too.
If you get past the singing, it's actually a pretty damn fun Skate Punk record. If you think about it in a positive way, the vocals give it an extra punk rock edge to it. Good work, Android! Can't wait for what new Wafers stuff you come up with next, I'll always be your top supporter!
Fav tracks are Yes My Feet Hurt, Certified Chud Classic, Robbed Of The Knob, Old Man Alexander, and I thought the Green Day cover was automatically better than all of their recent catalog.
Wow, this album was pretty damn great. I was genuinely surprised how much I enjoyed this, I'm going through a major Thrash Metal phase right now. Not only is this album incredibly well-written, but the atmosphere perfectly fits what these songs need. Insanely layered synths, guitars, sounds, and everything else.
My favorites from this album are Paranoid Android, Homesick Alien, Exit Music, and The Tourist. Those last two specifically are some of the prettiest songs I've heard this ... read more
Pretty good. While I definitely prefer The Gathering and The Legacy (very strange combination of records, I know), I'm surprised of the quality this band is still producing nearly 40 years of existence when this record came out. It seems even now they're just better than their peers.
Favorites are WWIII, Night Of The Witch, and Curse of Osiris.
I was trying to hold in my projectile jizz, but I heard the interlude and the same breakdown and I couldn't hold it in anymore and sprayed everything over my dog. Before I began crying, I realized my hidden talent and I'm deciding to become a superhero and save the world with my acid cum.. sorry doggy.
