Been a fan of Tyler for a long time now but sadly this one just didn't work for me sadly. Got to show mad respect to Tyler for always experimenting with new sounds. There are some genuinely beautiful and emotional moments here but sadly I felt underwhelmed as a long time fan. I am a huge Linkin Park fan, have been ever since I was like 8 but sadly this was a mediocre return for this band. I think everyone was worried about how they planed to return and how the vocals would be dealt with. I've got to say I am super happy they chose Emily. I think she has a great voice and is an absolutely amazing fit for the band. I finally sat down properly and listened to brat in full a few times round now. The hype was absolutely worth it. I had heard most of the tracks on here anyway and loved everything I had heard so being able to get the full picture was even better. I think it's clear to say that this album has the best production of the year so far. As much as this is filled with back to back bangers I was pleasantly surprised to hear some tracks that featured much more vulnerable lyrics and topics.

Wow I was expecting to hear new material from Kendrick but I was shocked with a full stealth album drop. The production sounds amazing on here. I absolutely loved the relatively unknown features (Excluding SZA), they bring the west coast vibe completely. There's tons of bangers on here and a ton of reasons to constantly come back to this record. It's easily going to be competing for best rap record of the year!
