It is difficult to explain why OK Computer is a perfect album without giving it a full listen, but I will try my best.

With Radiohead progressing towards more experimental sounds, they go full art rock with their third album. Whereas before they remained relatively straightforward with their work, here they add a spacey-like sound within the whole record, abandon traditional song structures in a few tracks, and goes abstract in its songwriting. Despite being abstract, though, this whole project explores the theme of technology and its control over humanity. There is so much going on here that you will likely not click with it on your first listen. It took me a few listens before I understood all of the moving parts, but once everything set in, it was like magic. This album is groovy, depressing, mesmerizing, and thought-provoking depending on how you might be feeling. This is perhaps what I like to imagine what people would consider to be classical music in the next 100 years.

OK Computer not only influenced art rock, and rock general, for many years to come, but holds itself up on its own as a life-changing experience if you are willing to give it a chance.
