As much as I love his fun and crazy material that we’ve been getting lately, this album was a surprising breath of fresh air. Giving me flashbacks to prime White Stripes and his vocals on this album are some of his best in a long time. This album is an absolute blast.
Haven’t heard Thom sound this playful and happy in years. Such a great change of pace for this band, these guys just can’t stop!
Love the acoustic direction they went with on this record. Some of my favorite songwriting from these boys lands on this album: Bone, Dirt, Most Of What I Like and the title track. Lyrics are nasty and dark and I love it. WOOOOOO!
Druggy, jammy, jazzy goodness. Some tracks don't progress as well as others given their length, but the ride is still enjoyable. The River is easily S tier gizz. WOOOOOO!
The first Gizz album that I fell In love with. The Mind Fuzz suite is some of the best shit they've laid to tape. The energy and space that this album has is engaging and exciting. One of their best in my opinion. WOOOOOO!
