so excited for the new album- these last few singles have really cemented a new sound for alec that was exactly what I thought the last few projects were missing

me when I leave the club not knowing that im acc stepping into the plague-run, leech-doctor-wielding, to be or not be streets..

ok so like a lot of these songs are good but they just really aren’t trying to grab your attention. like at all. and while I do think there are worse issues then being boring, it comes off as something even more offensive when I know she has the potential to cook with some of these songs.

first review on the site- starting off with one of my favorite releases this year.
such a gorgeous record from samia, and easily the best so far in her discography. the highs here are so strong when it comes to not only the sonic landscape of the project but also her lyricism.
definitely a contender for my aoty, the only thing bogging it down being the few bumps along the road.

highlights: hole in a frame, lizard, dare, fair game, proof, north poles, pants

skips: biscuits intro, spine oil
