A wee bit too lo-fi to fully enjoy - songs often sound quiet and homogenous, and there is a constant buzzing throught - but the energy is palpable.
Idk, I really like this cover by her. I feel it still holds the spirit of the OG. One of my favorites from that covers album
Definitely one of his most low-key releases, far from the weird folktronica of Hobby's or the crazy IDM on Bobbery. It's definitely a return to form to a more Songs Before Bed sound, with his signature boingy guitars, plucky bass and soft keyboards. The sound itself is nice, especially with the vocals, which you don't usually hear in Otto's music, and is overall very consistent and relaxing throughout. This consistency is probably my only problem with the album, as there ... read more

But hope is for presidents and dreams are for people who are sleeping"
Grew on me like a fucking tumour!
I kind of pushed this aside earlier in the year, but by the end of the year I was fully hooked on not only this album but also Saya as an artist, who I find very interesting. This album, I feel, is the most cohesive of hers sonically, unlike projects like 19 MASTERS and the QWERTY (that's fun to type) series, which are cool experimentally but padded to hell with filler. I really loved the instrumentals, but unfortunately I can't stand those emo-ass, whiny fucking vocals. Which is such a shame because I love the instrumentals so much! Did I mention I liked the instrumentals? I LIKE THE INSTRUMENTALS!
Don't hate it but I'm looking forward to any newer singles now. Dare I say I loved the music that played when they played rock paper scissors in the MV more than the actual music...
Honestly pretty good but god, the vibes are insufferable. Like the godawful artist name and the all lowercase. Some shit just cringeworthy, it ain't even gotta be deep, I guess.🥀
I mean, it's Ishka from Gee Tee, so it's pretty good. It's cool to see him have more fun with the guitars here that you don't get to hear much on GT's stuff. Catchy, fun, feel-good. Incredibly unoffensive in the best way!
Lights Out has been my jam for the last few days. Listen to it; it's great.
The video is essential. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aRToSaJRGo
What a fucking amazing performance. It sounds like shit. There's so much energy. It's so fun! I swear I love everything this band does.
I'm not insane saying this is one of the greatest songs ever made, ok.
