I know I'm not the only one with this issue, but the mixing is really bad. Nearly makes it entirely a miss, but it's still groovy, and treads similar grounds to their more classic stuff which is appreciated.
Honestly a very consistent album that doesn't skip a beat. Outside of sounding a bit old-fashioned in parts, all the tracks land and have unique, defining parts/lyrics. Instrumentation is also punchy and tight. I'll return to this album in a month and see if my opinion changes, but for now, The Vapors still have it!
EDIT: 81 - 72
Still good, but some songs to blend together and get lost in the shuffle.
Ngl the ogs are just better. New tracks are decent enough, but poor for Chameleons' standards.
