This doesn't sound as bad as people say, but it definitely is a bad project and it's all kanye's fault. Ty does his best trying to save the album from ye's laziness: ai, terrible mixing, lyrics and uninspired performances.
Every feature washed kanye in every song. 530 and Sky City are unfinished and ruined by ai. I'm not that tapped in anymore, but during the vultures era I remember I was fairly excited for these projects, because i liked a lot of the snippets. ... read more
This is an interesting project, and it sure is enjoyable, but I am not a really big fan of this sound. Don't get me wrong, most of the songs here are good, just not my favourite. I see this growing on me, because it's chill and I feel like I could soon come back to this. I don't really get why they would choose such a strange format for their "collab album", but it kinda works: it's a bit repetitive at times, but I was never bored. Not my favourite, but still worth ... read more
Edit2: Yeah this is album of the year
Edit: Yeah I listened to this two other times and it grew on me. B4EM still better tho 79-->82
This is just an enjoyable and fun album. Unfortunately, it's also bloated. It's not like there are particularly bad songs, but after a while this sound results a bit repetitive. I think B4EM is a better project for this reason alone: it isn't as long!
Nevertheless, I really like most of the songs, but I believe the start of the album is stronger ... read more
It's always nice to see an ep like this packed with great ideas. I really enjoyed the mix between this industrial hip hop type sound and abstract hip hop. The intro balances this elements phenomenally and I think it's the best track on the whole project. I'm really looking forward to listining to new music from this guy
Edit: This has stayed consistently in my rotation and I've learned to enjoy some of the songs I didn't like. 78-->82
The original rating for this was 76. Today I relistened to it twice and the score went up to a 78 and i feel like this will grow on me even more. Tracks like Bpd, the intro and Charlie Murder go crazy because they perfectly encapsulate the sound Bleood was going for without sounding too chaotic or too stripped back
The first half of the album is perfect, while the second half has some weaker tracks, like OD, the only track I personally see as a skip. Young Thug has incredible flows and some of the beats here are as incredible as his perfomances. I could cry listening to this
This is amazing. It seems minimalistic, but in a way it's grand, warm and beautiful. It feels like watching sun rays piercing through the curtains. Healing experience
This is unfinished, some of the songs are practically demos, ideas aren't fully flashed out and sometimes the vocals and the verses are pretty mediocre. Nevertheless, some songs just work and make me hope that kanye, the dude that got me into music, isn't washed and will be capable of making good music in the future
this ep has incredible highs, but it doesn't reach a score of 80 because of the few misses
One the most impressive and unpredictable record I've ever heard. Mindblowing experience
It's not particularly good, but it has a weird vibe I enjoy. I don't see myself coming back to this
La prima volta che l'ho sentito pensavo che fosse ripetitivo, adesso lo considero praticamente perfetto
