Ctrl

SZA's Ctrl is a beautiful album that showcases her incredible vocal range, flow and lyricism. Various tracks explore themes of jealousy, insecurities and the female desire/pressure to meet certain standards which I think a lot of people can relate to (not just women). The tracks are memorable and create a beautiful flow, especially with the touch of Solana's mother's dialogue. This record demonstrates her growth as an artist and shows she has so much to offer in the R&B and pop genre. Ctrl is always in my rotation, especially during those late-night drives and it was amazing to scream live. It is so hard to decide my favourites and it changes everyday!
