Quadeca - From Me to You

150th review!!! (Deluxe track ratings at the end)
I guess it wouldn't be fair to only review Quadeca's work since IDMTHY, so here I revisit the work where his work started to show signs that he was capable of so much more than what he was showing. His production first started shining here; with some great produced tracks and standouts just like Sisyphus.

The best of the One Direction adjacent albums released this year, but still mostly an average project, even if it has signs of brilliance

I honestly have to thank Quadeca for introducing me to them, and holy fuck what a beautiful album this is. The end gets a little repetitive but this is such an amazing post-rock project. Such a cathartic experience, loved it a lot

Malcolm Todd - Do That Again

Hey it's not bad to be honest but oh brother... the back half kinda felt so samey, it was hard to differentiate most of the tracks. Sometimes it was so bad I didn't even noticed the track had changed. Still honestly pretty good and "I Saw Your Face" is a banger ngl

Vince Staples - Cry Baby

First Vince Staples experience. Needless to say, I was NOT dissappointed. The rock production feels so in place with the political aspect of the music, and Vince's flows fit right in as well. Every track is consistent, and the overall short length makes it all feel like a great compact experience that dives into some topics the world needs to hear right now. Loved it; rap AOTY as of now

For it being a 12 year old she has merit, but her schtick runs dry so quickly. It ends up being mostly unintersting because of it, espcially in the lyrical aspect
