Instrumentals are cool some of the time, they just don't go anywhere. Vocally/lyrically though, this record leaves pretty much everything to be desired . Every time one of the features starts in, it feels like a bit of a relief
"Back it up with science, what's a gaslighter? I'm a human being, not a grill appliance" is one of the worst lyrics I've heard all year
As a abrasive, cathartic and frantic as this album is, it's equally as sweet, heartfelt and gentle.
I know this is going to sound cheesy but this record just feels like love and appreciation. Love for hip hop, love for where these guys are from, love for a partner (Reciprocity), love for themselves. It just feels good to listen to
