HOT COFFEE might be the best group B-side, perhaps even by a wide margin. BANG BANG is probably their most innovative pre-release. Odd was the highlights of the solo projects. This might be the first time ever where I've seen the literal word "gay" as part of the lyrics in a kpop song, a single even.
Lyrics and meaning wise, it has a raw and direct message to it, which is what I personally feel like the world currently needs more of, especially with the world (general public wise) feeling more divided than ever. Easily their best Pre-Release Single and the only one I liked at first listen. Even if it was considered empty, the chorus bass is honestly so well-produced and easily makes up for it, not to mention that all 4 members had full lines and not just adlibs during chorus and post-chorus.
