2020's aoty, if not for fetch the bolt cutters. punisher is a devastating record, and it's writing is great. it is wonderful. bridgers is one of the best songwriters of our generation (i would say is the best, if not for mitski). her vocal preformance is great, and you can hear the song and really feel it through her delivery.
favorite songs: dvd menu, kyoto, chinese satellite, icu, graceland too, i know the end

cute indie-pop record. this is how tomorrow moves is a well written, well sang, and well produced album. imo, beabadoobee's best. it's not a perfect album, but its an extremely solid and well put-together record.
favorites: the man who left too soon, everything i want, this is how it went, take a bite, california, real man, coming home

this is NOT below a 50? it isnt the best record, but it's ok for a debut. it's very fun, and a short record. it is extremely well produced imo, and while it's lyrically inconsistent, and the vocals from penelope aren't the greatest but are far from bad.

okay, it's not as bad as people say. some tracks are just awful, but the title track is not that bad, neither is choose ur fighter. Jojo would honestly just need more vocal training and to really find her style instead of making crappy, unforgettable pop music.

aoty 2024. by a longshot. holy fuck. in my opinion, a major upgrade from mercurial world, which is my 3rd favorite release from them, after 'a little ryhtmn and a wicked feeling'. this album has no not perfect songs, and it's songwriting, production, and vocal performance from mica are nothing short of exceptional. matt and mica are one of the best duos in pop music, and it really shows in this album. billie and finneas could learn a lesson or two from these two.

holy shitt. great album. her vocal performance I feel has improved so much from her debut, and the writing has improved drastically. great album, and there is not a single bad song on here. i do wish it was longer though, but that doesn't mean anything. people complaining about how short songs are now make me mad. listen to ethel cain's 90 minute drone album then. sorry for the tangent, but valentine is an amazing album, definitely worth listening to.
