This album has always been in my rotation since 2024, but I could never connect with it and never really understood the hype outside of the popular songs.
I recently picked up the electric guitar, and Mk.gee has begun speaking to me like a prophet. The tone, the lyrics, his voice, the liminal sound, the aura.
It’s a little rough around the edges and a bit minimal at times, but that’s what makes it special for me.

In retrospect, this album, and 2hollis in general, was a major catalyst in altering my brain chemistry and expanding my music taste.
This is easily one of 2's weaker projects, but it has some strong moments and is ear candy for the most part.

ezcodylee KILLS the rage-rock sound.
I love that he actually incorporates an electric guitar into the songs, even if it is distorted.
So much energy and distortion. Definitely a gym and concert album.
The sound gets a little stale as you go through the record, but the incorporation of more punk and traditional rock elements on the latter tracks of the album is a nice switch.
An album full of great songs, but not something I’ll be bumping daily.

2nd anniversary of Malcolm Todd’s breakout mixtape that continues to grow in popularity.
So catchy and fun, legitimately 45 minutes of sunshine and rainbows.
There are so many tracks and moments within those tracks that I adore.
Malcolm has such a good grip of the bedroom/indie pop-rock soundscape.
I highly recommend this to any Dominic Fike or Steve Lacy fans, after all, he was referred to as white Steve Lacy for some time.

As someone who was not excited for BULLY in the slightest, I must say I was impressed. This album will be divisive. The people who hate Ye will hate this album. The people who love Ye will love this album. And the people who are kind of in the middle (like me) will think it’s a step in the right direction.
Ye does a lot of good on this album. For one, he’s removed a majority, if not all, of the AI that previously plagued this record. For another, ... read more
