just a random list of underground and/or weird albums and thats it
inspired alot by the deep internet list on rym tbh
I have an interesting story about this album and if u don't know, I was part of a DnD club and one of the people who were that group was a random girl who was a big fan of ninjago and formula one along with being apart of a bunch of different fandoms and whatnot.
Anyways, her DnD game had some background music included as well and one of those songs that were apart of that game was a slowed version of the intro track to this album (in aisles to be exact) and idk how she discovered this track tbh but its probably due to her watching animation memes or whatever considering she literally had a fanfiction google doc open which she wrote that said fanfic in her freetime but idk for sure where she found the song tho icl
all u have to know is that this is the most RPG coded album I found thus far (even tho I haven't listened to the whole thing yet) and definitely deserves a spot here icl
and they wonder why I don't bring up im a SC fan in public
plotagon lookin ass cover
soul in the jar music video one of the most underrated music videos of the 90s icl (man I wish there was a high quality version of it bro)
the first shoegaze project according to AOTY
yall probably know about them thanks to golden brown blowing up on tiktok but they also made a ton of post punk projects prior that also deserve recognition and this is one of them
some random post metal band fantano was apart of back in the late 2000s and thats it

hazbin hotel and nu metal combined pretty much
had to add something related to homestuck at some point lmao
only knew about it thanks to niche network on IG interviewing them tbh. its just emo shit for bronies
shoutout to crustbag mentioning them in his band logos vid, this shit is peak
pretty surprising how im bringing up a gospel album of all things here but considering how ahead of its time it is, it has to be mentioned
had to also include it cuz politicians in my eyes alone was pretty influential for punk tbh (ik it came out in 2009 but the track I mentioned earlier came out in the 70s)
ik its not underground but its still a weird oddity of an album so it kinda counts
who invited godzilla or one of his clones into this shit
idk why gabber is so overlooked on here its crazy
the 80s attempt at reviving the monkees but failed insanely hard
