If Back to the Future three was a dystopian western written by Cormac Mcarthy, The Builders and the Butchers would've been the band instead of ZZ Top and this album would've been the soundtrack.
I don't know if it's their best but it's the one I go back to over and over.

The sad story about Spinal Tap isn't just that they never participated in any profits. It's the horrible end of one of the creators. I happened to see the movie followed by a Q&A with Rob Reiner. Only weeks before he was killed.
Sadly, the film felt like a cash grab. But I was happy to give them some cash.

1979 was a watershed year. The Knack's Get the Knack. Boomtown Rats' Fine Art of Surfacing. Paul Collin's The Beat. So many others.

A record that manages to be both influential and also annoying at the same time.
