actually enjoyed this quite a bit. emily's singing is good but i wish there was more story cause she just sorta spawned in
Lonely at the Top is perfectly listenable, but feels uninspired, lacking energy and moments that capture your attention, making for a fairly uninteresting listen.
I barely ever see anyone talk about this album, probably because SIMBI came out the year before, but this is seriously a listen. It does feel a bit more direct and personal than her last album, but also a bit more loose. I will say, the last 3 tracks are definitely the weakest on the album.
There are some really good songs on here but there's also a lot of filler. excited to see what she does next tho
I originally thought this album was really good, but honestly- it's grown on me even more. The lyricism is so honest, and the beats are sooo nice.
Super chill production and rapping is on point as usual. features are really good on this aswell.
