The only album I'd pay $500+ for on vinyl. A masterpiece front to back, and an ever present beacon of what almost was.

Alex G has served the public with infectious melodies and raw, unflinching lyricism for 15 years. The traditional cost of this quality was cacophonous disorganization. For every song with an undeniable grip, G would deliver a suite of music clouded by dissonance, opiates, and double-edged rage. “Headlights” gives the impression of the cloud parting.
