FINE. While far from an easy listen, Chorion contains more than a few interesting ideas across its 45 min. runtime. I didn't find it super inventive, but the album overall has a coherent, j-rpg horror vibe to it, and the addition of prominent vocals on tracks like Mongolian Worm helps differentiate Chorion from less inspired ambient noise records.
FINE. While the trance-like repetition that appears on every track is an interesting choice, and the lyrics on the record are inventive and genuine, the production and vocals on the record aren't interesting enough to keep the repetition from being grating at times.
