I'm such a sucker for pop-rock in kpop, I love KickFlips sound so much and this is yet another solid album from them
I can't review this if I don't start by talking about what I always talk about with new kpop releases which is that not a single song on this EP is over 3 minutes and I'm quite tired of that trend (the longest one is 2:52 like.. come on) that being said, I think genre-wise it's more understandable for the songs on this EP to be shorter compared to other albums, but that still doesn't mean I have to like it
For the actual review, they did not lie by calling this ... read more
these two songs are so different but also equally incredible, with CINEMA being a slower and more traditional sounding k-rock ballad-type song, and Bloodline being a bit faster and having a slightly grungier guitar sound. they're both amazing, very uniquely WOODZ, but I think Bloodline is my favorite of the two. however they are both peak and we WILL be streaming the album
this was my first time listening to this group after discovering them on the page of 2026 releases, and I am very glad that I did! this is a solid pop EP with somewhat dreamy elements and I really liked it. feels like the kind of EP you listen to at night, if that makes sense. my favorite is probably either Moonlight Dance or Super Luna, and my least favorite is Any Minute. I didn't dislike it, it just didn't really do much for me. Phase is really good as well, though not my favorite ... read more
ateez's complete inability to make a bad album continues as expected
I loved every song, the vibes of Ghost were incredible, Adrenaline is so high energy and feels like a classic Ateez title track, the beat in NASA is filthy (and I love it), and I love how emo On The Road sounds. and of course Choose (which has already been out for a couple months) is wonderful sonically, and I'm very emotionally attached to it considering the meaning of it. not to sound parasocial but songs that are ... read more
I was nervous going into this after hearing Knife for the first time because I really thought I wasn't going to like this album, but I actually liked it more than I thought i would! Knife is definitely my least favorite Enhypen title track by far though, it's just not really the genre I wanted to hear from them and it doesn't really do anything for me. I also actually like the interludes, I think it's an interesting choice for an album and gives it a nice ambience! my ... read more
this is an album that I think is good, but unfortunately none of the songs were memorable enough to make it great. they all kind of sounded like a lot of NCT WISH's other songs (at least the ones I've heard, I'll admit I haven't listened to their full discography yet), which sucks because it had a lot of potential!
favorite song is either SOMEDAY or Dreamcatcher
least favorite is poppop - Japanese ver, I didn't like the original Korean version so obviously I don't ... read more
Never listened to H1-KEY before, but somehow this release got on my radar. I really enjoyed this !! just a sweet, easy-listening type song, love the vibes of this and will definitely be checking out more
Finally getting around to listening to izna, and I actually liked this EP quite a bit! however I didn't enjoy the title track as much as I felt it was a bit uninspired, and DRIP is just..... yeah
but I thought the other three songs on the album were really good!! hard to pick a favorite, but on first listen I'd probably say IWALY. definitely looking forward to checking out more of their stuff!
Another common Spiritbox W as expected
Through the whole album there's only really one that I'm not super into (Crystal Roses), but it's not even bad, just not really my thing.
Favorites are definitely Soft Spine, the title track Tsunami Sea, and Ride The Wave, my god I'm obsessed with that breakdown!!!
As much as I love their melodic songs, I really like the heavier vocals that seem to be consistent through the whole album. very into this!!
easily one of his best in terms of songwriting. one of my favorite songs ever
This album is not my favorite kind of music sonically and I think I preferred her previous releases a bit more as they felt more unique to me, but I love the vocals throughout and I can definitely appreciate a K-pop album that leans into that R&B inspired sound even if it's not really my thing.
The first half is definitely the best in my opinion, the later tracks just don't feel as strong and I don't think they're as cohesive with the rest of the album.

I love Tunnel and Autobahn (especially Tunnel) but I am not the biggest fan of the Roar remixes as remixes are unfortunately never really my thing in general, so out of the four tracks on this EP there are only two that I really listen to. However, I love the emotional, more stripped back, vocal-forward, slightly soft-rock inspired style he explores in Tunnel, I just wish it was a bit longer as it's not even 2 and a half minutes long (but that's kind of my opinion about all K-pop ... read more
