The musical that takes a turn one would never expect. You can really feel the emotion in the songs, a further testament to the talents of the actors and actresses involved. "Candy Store" is by far the standout, but every song serves its purpose in their appropriate scenes well. It's certainly a different take on the high school/mean girl kind of tropes, but it keeps you hooked and the songs keep you apprised of what is happening in a very not-boring fashion.
"She Used To Be Mine" is the standout song by far, but each song was fun and whimsical in its own way. The story of Waitress revolves around the topic of abuse and making the hard decisions to do what is needed for the betterment of not only yourself, but those around you. Taking the risks needed to become happy and free. A very good musical and a very solid soundtrack.
This soundtrack had the ability to really enhance the storytelling aspect of Undertale in fantastic fashion, and it did just that. It pulled on the heartstrings and raised tensions during important scenes in the game, resulting in a full immersion into the game's world and characters.
