Magic I Want U is one of the coolest songs I have ever heard. This EP is proof Jane isn't playing around. Ghostholding? Excellent. Revengeseekerz? Goes hard. On initial review I thought SOULPUNCHER was just good, a new beginning for Astrale to build upon....But now, I find myself listening front to back almost every day. Not as strong as their first EP, but still a lot of fun. I don't think every single piece of art needs to insist upon itself, brandishing itself as the next big breakthrough in human thought. What After excels at is abandoning the notion of trying too hard to be cool. Nostalgia is a very powerful factor in music, nodding to childhoods or a bygone age is and always has been popular.
