This actually feels so refreshing and detached from k-pop, I think the genre as a whole has a taboo effect where no one actually takes it seriously because of all of the stans that would literally kill you if you had the wrong opinion, and even though those types of fans are still prevalent today it’s nice to know that the artists themselves are straying away from solely catering to diehard fans and focusing on making quality music.
