I love this album so much. Start to finish, most of these songs mean something to me. A brilliant record which feels complete, not just by itself, but for the whole lore.
City Walls: WOW. Some introduction that is. Not exactly representative of the sounds in this album, but I don't care, the flow is amazing, the bridge is nothing short of incredible. I heard this album maybe 3 times to get a rough idea of what I thought of it. And honestly? I don't know why people hate it. Sure, it doesn't have that "Gorillaz" sound, but it doesn't disqualify it from a bunch of really good songs (though some of them are genuinely the worst songs ever made by Gorillaz). Now, even though it has some really good tracks, it doesn't feel very cohesive to me. Just a collection of songs, not really an identity.

This is by no means a bad album, and honestly the first half has some really cool vibes. However, it suffers from really repetitive song structures (which isn't the big problem, just gets old after a bit), and some songs are just forgettable in my opinion.

a very solid record looking at different perspectives on the people around us and life in general. i like the vocal work, the emotion put into each song, and there really isn't a weak song on here. "People" is my favourite, it just gives me a new look on the people around us going through their own situations
I can see why some people won't like this, but i don't care this is such an insane song for me
