Man's Best Friend is neither good nor bad...
I was very interested to see where Sabrina would go after Short 'n Sweet. I mean, it seemed to me like a pretty impossible task to come out with something even stronger than the irresistible pop enigma that was Short 'n Sweet. The Tortured Poets Department is a great album, despite the constant criticisms it gets. As corny as this sounds, I do believe this is a widely misunderstood album. A lot of people seem to imply that the album is too 'repetitive', and I don't really see where that comes from. Can you name a song from her last 3 albums that sounds like a song on TTPD?
