not throwing shade because i do like all the girls but jennie is the only one out of the 4 who i view as an ARTIST artist. i do think rosé is serious about her craft, compared to the remaining members, but its just not ear candy imo. i found ‘rosie’ to be quite dull.. not that ‘ruby’ is some remarkable, unprecedented album but its objectively more intriguing in my eyes. at first, i was very on the fence about this release and had MAJOR mistrust in jennie’s musicality prior to any single releases but with this as the final product + the slight push and “experimental-ness”(?) in a few of these tracks, it only shows she actually has an authentic interest and a VISION. which is the category were i think lisa failed in. it might just be a musical preference but yeah, jennie has the best post BP solo album by a loooooonnngggg shot. ALTHOUGH she could benefit from longer songs but WHATEVER its fine ITS FINE…
