When I heard these idiots were releasing a new album, I knew it was going to be one of the worst albums of the year. I was correct.

Mustaine really wanted to go out with a bang in the most sixth grade fashion ever. This album has some of the worst songwriting I’ve ever heard.

What’s sad is that the instrumentals on here are actually bearable, which is the most impressive thing on this album.

And now the main reason why I gave this a 0, the cover of Ride the Lightning.

If you know me, Metallicas Ride the Lightning is one of my favourite metal albums of all time, and the title track is one of my favourites. Mustaines cover sounds like he’s at a karaoke bar half drunk singing.

I’d rather hear a fork scrape a plate than hear this horrible project. I’m more glad they made this album because I know their career is done.
