70 -> 100
Holy shit, I needed to re-review this.
Nurture is not just an album, it is a journey through uplifting, nostalgic, and sometimes devastating emotions. Either lifting yourself on Look at the Sky, reflecting back on life on Wind Tempos, or absolutely crying on Blossom, this album gives you a journey and a half you shall not forget.
The fact it took me almost three days to finish this project is nothing short of just pure replay. These tracks are so high quality that you can get lost in each track for hours on end. Personally, I found Musician to be the ultimate standout for me. Those opening chops and drum fill is just enough to hook the listener in for a ride and a half.
Back to the album itself, it was well worth the 7 year wait from Porters debut, Worlds. Nurture explores a more personal, uplifting, and nostalgic concept instead of the dystopian, robotic world of Worlds. This was a turn for the best.
This album will withstand the test of time. I know it will.
