Rest easy, Matt.

This album is everything I wanted black midi to be. Chaotic, complex, yet still having those cool, calm jazz pieces that made them so unique in previous works.

The chaos that some of these tracks bring are songs that I never had imagined could exist, but black midi in their truest of fashion, defy all odds and turn everything upside down. Redefining experimental and avant-garde in the 2020s.

This is hands down one of the most important albums to appear out of the Windmill Scene.

Even with some of the weaker aspects on this project, the highs outshine them in every single way, shape, and form.

Long live black midi.

Highlights: Sugar/Tzu, Welcome To Hell, Still, The Race Is About To Begin
Lowlight: The Defence
