An all-time favorite dig of mine. Haunting in its delicateness. Even the unbridled anger in the breathtaking opening track has (a folk-flavored) intent behind it. Truly incredible.
A cute bossa thing with cute whispery vocals. Like a slightly less technically innovative Lamp, but with an adorable voice to make up for it.
Firmly in the better half of releases in the style of yearning young adults à la pitched-down instrumentals and slurred emo lyricism. The title track is clearly the standout. "Let Me Know" is this short and bittersweet musical poem that hit me like a desperate hug from a quietly sobbing loved one. Its trance-inducing microtonality, imperfections, and breathy vocals all sent shivers down my spine in a way that many Soundcloud artists try to achieve but fail to.

The album that sent high school freshman me down a wonderful foray into psychedelic lo-fi sounds. "These Chains" probably altered the course of my life events in some way.
In somewhat terse reflection, this album is an absolute masterpiece in soundscaping, but its understated nature can become boring to some. Recommended: patience, an open mind, and closed-back headphones/ear monitors.
