OK Computer has almost 30 years of existence, and yet it feels like it was made for today’s world. It is an album about contemporary life, a starting point for understanding the automated and systemic reality we inhabit, and the quiet anxiety of adapting ourselves to it.
More than a record, OK Computer feels like a spot in time — something capable of making you stop, take a breath, and delay all your actions. It forces you to think about every step you take, questioning whether it ... read more
one of the most well composed albums I ever heard, had high expectations to it and still was flabbergasted by its narrative and concept. Each song has a deep meaning behind, and all of them are super contemporary, simply beautiful.
can't believe Taylor's pen fell off like that. I mean, even though you think that she's nothing special or overrated, she was at least consistent, evermore, folklore, red are all good examples, but this album just lacks absolutely EVERYTHING. I really thought that smth new was about to happen, because of the albums marketing,it seemed like something new was coming but is just the same theme as always, but this time, there's only one catchy song, the other ones? Just mid/bad,tbh is ... read more
what a debut,Kendrick just showing why he came for with a super ambitious project, great songs and concept,a worthy predecessor for gkmc
This might actually be the best pop punk album I've ever heard. Production, vocals, sonority, simply beautiful, way more than just a "emo album". Impeccable tracklist(especially the first half, god damn.) can't really decide a favorite.
Banger.
tbh pretty underrated album, didn't get why is it so low rated. Well, there are some pros and cons, while the tracklists are a bit inconsistent, with annoying vocal performances sometimes, there is REALLY good songs on it too, what the hell and wish you were here are absolute classics and smile tbh is one of the greatest pop punk songs I ever heard, but due to some tracks,i ain't rating it better
Had a good time listening to it. Definitely, not much effort was put into the lyrics (which I understand the criticism about—they feel really repetitive, with the tracklist completely focused in the same thing),but she has REALLY improved vocal wise compared to her latest releases
REALLY good album, especially talking about a debut one. But definetely not my favorite of his discography
That's fine. Short, easy to get through the tracks, nothing really special tho,but has some good material to keep, far better than the latest one.
I didn't had much expectations to it,but god damn this was disappointing, especially after some good/decents tracks in the beggining, really felt like they just let the worst to the end, second half is unbearable. The first project is better and way shorter, easy to hear, this one gets progressively worse to.
That's my favorite album oat,100% sure that even those who're not acquainted with the genre are going to fell in love with this,it's pure genius lyricism mixed with sheer experience, dot wanna make us get into his reality while living in Compton to feel what he's been through and couldn't do it better, that feels like something that only Kendrick can provide to us.GKMC is timeless and can be heard at any moment or time(personally, every week I hear it at least 1/2 ... read more
Dot walking again,to surprise absolutely no one, arguably the best discography in rap industry oat. Loved basically all songs, the sonority is amazing and there's replay value no doubt. The only thing that I felt lack of was a concept, this album is kinda of diluted, far from a bad thing, but this is definitely his weakest one, again, not bad,far from it,but even though I enjoyed listening to it,theres not much of a focus.
