I’m surprisingly weak for DNB/Jungle. I feel like this soundtrack managed not only what it wanted to accomplish, but also what I wanted to get out of it. It’s pretty straightforward, but it works oh so well. A really, really fun listen.
Not sure if i would’ve survived accidentally ground-pounding into the void 20 times if it wasn’t for this soundtrack. Wherever you go, the vibes follow.
Odyssey is a generational experience in general, but the soundtrack on its own is just as strong. It just wouldn’t be a Mario game without a banger soundtrack, would it?
It’s on par with Apollo Justice in terms of the general themes, but holy shit the character themes in this game are ON POINT. Bobby Fulbright, Florent L’Belle, SIMON MOTHAFUCKIN BLACKQUILL??? I mean, come on. It’s so peak, and with a really fun and underrated game to boot.
Dual Destinies may be polarizing and the 3d art style is obviously not my favorite, but I can’t help but love both the game and its OST.
Toby “I write games as an excuse to make banger music” Fox
The story of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney’s life seems to be that it’s just not Phoenix Wright. I loved the game (the last case specifically was amazing) and the soundtrack was amazing to boot. But it just… isn’t Phoenix Wright.
The DS allows for some really cool-sounding stuff, and it’s a really phenomenal twist on the OG soundtracks. I have to give it credit, because standing on its own it really shines. It’s probably bad of me to compare it so much to ... read more
Chef's kiss. Chef's fucking kiss.
Every scenario in this game has fitting music. Some tracks are so beautiful that i can't even believe it. Just listen to "The Wind Can Be Still" and you'll get what i mean. ConcernedApe, like Toby Fox, can feel comfortable knowing he created a masterpiece in both gaming and music.
A nice batch of beats. For pegging! Wait, no. Peggling? P-puh...
i give up.
This soundtrack is unironically really good. I really love peggle 2 (and i might be the only person who did) so it might be bias to some degree, but i really enjoyed listening to this.
If anyone ever finds this review: Hello! You are hopefully, like me, a massive Fable 3 defender. It's one of my favorite games of all time, no joke. Love everything about it. The music is probably the only thing about the game that isn't even slighlty "so bad it's good". it's just really fantastic music.
Most underrated game ever and i'll die on that hill.
A fun, lighthearted dating sim soundrack. Until it isn't.
The pure, dark nature-y feeling of the first chapter resonated well with the soundtrack. Toby Fox goes just a little step further with that for chapter 2 with his most cyber soundtrack. What can i really say about it? Chapter 2 blew me away with how genuinely funny it was (the funniest Fox has ever been) and the story felt so lighthearted, which translated so incredibly well into the music. The character themes are so on point, too. Queen's theme is perfect, Berdly's is amazing and ... read more
A worthy soundtrack to a worthy sequel. In certain parts i genuinely wonder if it's BETTER. Then again, it's a soundtrack constructed later in Fox's career, so of course is it going to have qualities that comes with experience. It doesn't trump Undertale's OST, but it certainly keeps up.
It really is THAT good.
Toby Fox manages to create art in both the game he made, but also the music that accompanies it. It's an incredible feat and not many games can comfortably state that they're a 10/10 in both parts, but Undertale has earned those bragging rights.

There isn’t a singular piece of music on here that I can criticize in the slightest. I don’t know how it’s possible, but it’s the most flawless thing I’ve ever listened to.
I love every track theme, menu song and jingle. They managed to do everything right. Don’t get me wrong, certain songs are definitely better than others, but not once in the hour long runtime did this soundtrack drag.

Contender for best, most versatile and most fitting OST ever. Genius composing.

Although the game only gets crazier, there is a very slight dropoff in the music for the second game. I just feel like i needed some wow-factor to carry the series forward. But it's more of the same, and i'm very ok with that.
The quality of the music on the extra case is just as good as the main games. A banger case accompanied with some iconic character themes. Damon Gant's is a particularly big favorite of mine.

This is just perfect to listen to in almost every situation and every song has it's own personality, especially the character-specific themes. Amazing game elevated by an amazing score.
