I wish I had liked this album, but the only song that got me was 'Past Due Future.

Although the title suggests optimism and lightness, the album conveys an emotion that feels artificially restrained. There's an emotional distance that prevented me from connecting with the songs. The vocal performance is beautiful but lacks variation; the instrumentals are engaging but predictable. Instead of beautiful days, what I felt was an overcast atmosphere comfortable, yet forgettable. An album to listen to once and not return to.
