Unfortunately another reminder that I don’t really mess with Megalodon’s music. The second track here with Stabby is much better in my opinion, mostly because of more interesting flows. Regardless, both tracks are overlong and feel kind of formless.

Really lovely off-drops, classic MUST DIE!, drops are pretty good too.

Far Too Loud - Wormhole

Never really listened to much Far Too Loud, but here’s his final EP. It starts off a little rough in my opinion, with ‘Wormhole’ having good off-drops but a weak drop. ‘Not a Real Thing’ sounds Excision-influenced to me, and as such, I’m not really that much of a fan. ‘Keep Stomping’ is maybe my favourite of the bunch, with high-energy drops that switch between electro house, dubstep, and moombahcore (?). Herobust - No Time

Banger. Very inventive sound design for the time, and drums are really good. The only thing holding this back for me is that I sort of wanted the final drop to go into a festival trap thing, like the middle drop of LAXX’s last single ‘Hardcore’.

Midnight Tyrannosaurus - The Fossil

First EP from Midnight Tyrannosaurus I’ve heard, and it’s pretty mid. I’ll just go track-by-track: ‘Rat Jazz’ is a cut I can appreciate for trying something different to the usual riddim format, but unfortunately I find it pretty annoying (although I do like the subtle hi-hats in the drops). ‘Mudmen!’ has a similarly annoying lead sound in its drops, and a grating melody in the off-drops to boot.
