The production on this album feels like it really sets it apart from a lot of Reggaeton I've heard. I have definitely seen people talk about the genre getting really stale as a bunch of artists jump on the simplest Reggaeton beat and play the tropes straight, but this really feels like it's trying to do its own thing. The hints of lo-fi and electronica on this album coalesce into a really lovely interesting blend of sounds. The biggest issue is that without the ability to understand Spanish, I don't have the strongest connection to a lot of these tracks and there are times where the Reggaeton tropes stick out a little much and make the hour long listen really exhausting. I noticed I was starting to get disengaged around me jodi... Despite that the songs are still very good, and tracks like Pasiempre, Sci-Fi and PARANORMAL are damn bangers. Very chill vibes and some damn stellar production when this album really sings, but feels a bit bloated and could probably be cut down a little.
