Get Up

This EP hits like, 4/6 for me. A really versitile project that I see a lot of potential in.

Opening track Newjeans is some fun Drum and Bass learning EDM that just FEELS stylish god damn. Just pure fun with some lovely quirky production. Supershy is a banger drum and bass track that manages to keep a fun hook while keeping up the speed, especially with the pulsing bass giving the whole thing this oomph. This track does feel like it runs out of ideas at some point though.

ETA is then the first miss of the project, kinda cheap trumpets in the beat that don't really give the song the life it needs, and the "What's your ETA" hook just not really hitting. Still like, a 5/10 song or so but yeah just a step down.

Cool With You brings back that EDM groove with a much more smooth, suave vibe to it, which is carried into the following VERY short track Get Up that has this dream pop aesthetic that I wish there was more from.

The production on ASAP has me mixed. It's a little too skeletal at time but the little vocal percussion is really cool. I think the vocals on this track though are surprisingly weak though and don't feel as full as they have been on previous tracks.

I'm not sure whether I wanna see them do a full length project or not, because I wanna see them push their sound, but their 2 minute tracks kinda don't seem to lend themselves to much more than their short runtimes, as there are tracks that begin to get extremely repetitive towards their conclusion.
