While I don't think it's outstanding, I feel like a lot of the takes about it being boring and repetitive are kinda wild. That clave beat is a fundamental part of amapiano music and everything around it is what's changing. I do think Tyla limits herself a little in vocal deliveries and nothing quite hits the same sultry levels that Water did when it first came out, but it's a solid release overall.
Plus, it's an extremely short album which means that the beat doesn't really get the change to feel super repetitive if I'm being honest.
