after listening several times i believe i can say it now: i believe this is the greatest song of all time. seriously. this song is incredible. the progression is so fun and builds so much. the sound design is phenomenal and the melodies are perhaps the best tpaz has ever made. the cheatreal reference as well??? this is a serious masterpiece and i dont believe any other rhythm game style song comes close, not even any songs in general for me personally.
starts off INCREDIBLY STRONG with no hero, broken summer, and back to you again arguably being yuta's 3 best works, but the album starts to fall off gradually from there. middle portion is good but not great until acid kaiju, then the album falls off the rails for a while. acid kaiju is quite mid to begin the stretch of mid until glitch kobaryo ftn remix. i dont even know how to begin. that might genuinely be the worst song ive ever heard. first 2/3 of the album carry hard enough for a low ... read more
this is genuinely the best jcore song to ever be made and the ratings are really reflecting it
quite forgettable and mid album to be frank
every song just kind of feels the same with no direction or theme beyond just "classic lapix futuristic sounds," although there is a grand total of one "drop" in this entire album, quite disappointing. very non melodic and heavily focuses on pure sound design and rhythms. there are a few songs gimmicky to the point of being hard to listen to, most notably rumba meltdown, which is quite honestly unlistenable. now, as for the ... read more
album has grown on me a bit but its still quite boring for a large section. most songs are good but not great but a few standouts push this rating up to a high 70 in my eyes. notably, fly wit me, flamewall, and +eraby+e (honorable mention million pp) really shoot this album from being closer to 50-60 to nearly an 80
i mean its just a collection of camellias best tiebreakers which are inherently usually more varied and emotional than normal songs so it cant really be any worse than any other albums lol
now, that being said, while the song quality is extremely high in this album, as an album itself it feels...empty? only 2 new songs on the album and a few remasters but mostly just singles that got rereleased. for an album this hyped up it felt very disappointing. the album also really lacks a theme or ... read more
oh yeah i forgot about this lol goodbye mixpeed this is the greatest album of all time
the peaks are really really high but there are some equally low lows, overall though the peaks are more important to me
despite so many songs being honestly "forgettable" (as in no one talks about them or listens to them for some reason?) the songs in this album are all mostly really good
the fact that kobaryo can make an album this good right after making mixpeed is incredible
this album is honestly quite amazing, doesnt quite reach mixpeed levels of quality (although really what does? that album is insane) but is probably one of the better kobaryo albums.
pretty much every song is just plain speedcore with very little variation. ggsbnds and zero risk are at least good for being pure speedcore and yura yura sweet genocide is lowkey pretty good as a song though
this album is so good, only maybe 2 or 3 not good songs but the rest are consistently 4/5 stars, very impressive album
dude silentphobia, izana, pandemonium, im a dummy, and rush away in one album is just insane bro
BASS Potion is absolutely incredible but the rest is sort of just average for j-core and j-core adjacent songs
carried hard by kamah -scythe- but newspapers and we are not curzed still hold up so its a pretty good trio
