Sigrid's « How To Let Go » is a somewhat polarising followup to her debut record « Sucker Punch » with more polish, and depth but which lacks consistency.
Opening on « It Gets Dark » Sigrid recalls the emphatic pop sound of Sucker Punch, but this time with an overarching hint of melancholy which colours every line. The track holds its own, and the somewhat ethereal strings which back it evoke the same imagery of space the lyrics describe.

« Stray » is a collection about as focused as it's art might suggest. Despite this, the nine track project features some standout, albeit incredibly polarising melodies.

À peu près is a veritable masterpiece - if what you are looking for is a calm, sometimes unique, sometimes predictable assortment of songs backed by, and centred around, compelling and dynamic vocals.
