Just what we weren't waiting for: an album crammed with obvious, cringy pseudo-intellectual political twaddle. Yes, we know you're a bunch of pretentious progressive leftists - you don't have to hit us over the head with it.

All of that could be overlooked, if the music itself were not so utterly BORING. Only one song stood out, and that one not even enough for me to remember which one it was and I'm certainly not sitting through this again to find out.

How far you have fallen, Coldplay. smh

I'm afraid I agree with TheNeedleDrop on this one. Awesome track, but just a tad underwhelming because it sounds sooooo similar to just about everything else they've done from the last two albums.

Still can't wait for the full disc tho.

Not a bad album at all. But really, not the one they should have released as their third. This is an acoustic set of mostly covers, a couple even of their own. It's the kind of album that you expect maybe 7 albums in - something you sit back and take it easy on after a long run. After only 2 other albums, it seems like an undeserved slacking off.
