Was not expecting that, a Maroon 5 with actually loud bass since Jordi? I like the groovy nature of this song that contrasts from all the acoustic guitar + synth stuff Maroon 5 has been doing for a bit. I actually prefer this over everything on Love is Like. Maroon 5 have always been inconsistent with singles, so I don't have hope just yet that whatever this song is attached to will be a full banger. But I like the throwback feeling this song gives.

I'm a bit disappointed that they seem to be leaving behind the power pop sound they've been holding occasionally since the green album. The song is still pretty good to me, it gives vibes of the blue album in a way, but delivered without the nerdiness Blue had. Feels like Weezer might be at last growing up if that makes sense? It does seem appropriate for a time when most members are pushing/already at 60.

This was my first Foo Fighters album to listen in full and.. yeah I should've picked another one to be my first. I actually listened to this on the day it released but forgot that this site existed for a while.
