God Does Like Ugly is a great album that pinpoints where JID is in life and flexes his unlimited flows with great lyricism. Speaking on topics such as spirituality and religion while reminiscing on past times that have shaped him today. The production is great and has a good amount of variety. Boldy and Craven add another good album to their run. Good rapping with decent flows, and the production was great at times. Features were okay to good, as I liked David Wesson on “Cordon Bleu” and his nonchalant flow worked well. I was curious how this album would sound since it feels like Boldy has been dropping something every week. Hoping he saved his best for this, and he did.

Billy Woods adds another great album to his catalog. Amazing, dark, and eerie production sets the mood with great rapping from Woods. His unique flows, combined with plenty of quotable and great lyrics. Features were great and fit well with the production.
