A review on romance almost 2 years since I listened to it. The album was on my watchlist when I heard "starburster" on the radio. I thought the lead single was very fun and I decided to look into Fontaine's as a whole. I had mixed feelings at the end of the album when I first listened to it, I thought they should have followed the route of the grittiness of "starburster" instead of the slow slog it became.

I had been following this band for quite a while since they toured with twenty one pilots, I thought they had huge potential with songs like So Cold and Designer, I thought I heard some of their songs before because it was great. I spent 7 months holding off from reviewing the album because I wanted it to sit with me, so I can get rid of my biases that I had. This is one of the last albums before my mom wasn't herself anymore. Check up on people you know <3

How does anyone enjoy this? This is so unlistenable and clogs up the ears. This is just gross

As a person who has troubles explaining her thoughts. I just wanna give what I like in these songs

This is just a good song with very GOOD instrumentals
It reminds me of BCNR or racing mount pleasant

Chrysalis (if I were me) - 8/10
This song got better overtime as the instrumentals got more involved especially the drums
Good listen
