I’m BACK. After getting back from the ARTMS concert i’m here to review these dudes.
After listening to Under Your Spell, Snow Strippers have been on my radar for a bit. April Mixtape 2 is definitely a fun project, I love the electronic vibe and honestly there’s so many good deepcuts. Sometimes it lacks due to it’s repetitive nature but I still love so many songs on here. Especially We Both Suffocate.
Two things we can’t ever escape, taxes and time.
Parannoul drops his most consistent and emotional album, diving through themes of the past and time he releases (imo) his best album, with every song building off of the last he’s able to create such an emotional expression of what he’s been thinking. Plus this just has some bangers and one of his best songs. Evoke me is a 3 part, 15 minute song, and it kinda reminds me of White Ceiling Demo, each part is stretched out ... read more
Peggy dropping one of the most well produced album of the year on a random Thursday. I can’t say this album is very different from his previous work, but Peggy follows his own formula and perfects it so well in this album. This doesn’t have a hazard duty pay or a jesus forgive me track but it’s very consistent in its 48 minute run time and I love it.I wish Denzel was on a better song though, felt like his feature was lackluster.
I have no idea what they’re saying but I can feel their pain. Just a moment is an album defined by it’s feeling more than anything else. It’s a memory in time disguised as an album. Also I feel like putting gel in my hair and covering one of my eyes and wearing all black when listening to this album. A perfect emo sentiment.
Real k-pop is back.
Despite the album being all over the place, that doesn’t mean any of the songs are bad. -15 points for having no coherent structure but the music is musicing so that’s still good. Also GIVE STAYC MORE ROCK SONGS AND GIVE ISA HER SOLO ALREADYY
SONG OF THE SUMMER THE GIRLS JUST CAN’T MISS
A catchy upbeat summer jam that’s a great follow up to Midas Touch, Kiof owns the summer.
Chuu is love and love is Chuu but I didn’t enjoy this as much as I would like. Chuu herself is amazing but something is missing from her music unlike her other members. I hope in the future she moves away from this cutesyish music and into something else but I’ll love her either way just maybe not her music. (I also was wishing for more of an Aliens vibe)
FUCK SM BUT GOD BLESS RED VELVET
Another ep to solidify Red Velvet as one of the most consistent k-pop groups oat.
In a couple more years this will be widely accepted as one of the most influential rap records from the last few decades
She did it again. Nayeon is Twice’s hit maker as she returns with a strong follow up to the challenging Pop. I was worried about ABCD because of the snippet but it turns out to be a good song with NA as an even better ep with great songs like Heaven, Magic, and Something.
This might just be the best k-pop album ever made. BUT IT WONT GET MANY SALES BCS OF THEM NOT ADDING PCS THE MUSIC IS HERE IT IS
Literally so consistent and so so so so many great ideas here with so many songs and stories being told. You can dissect this album like no other. Jaden you might be a villain to me but you did your thing here jesus christ.
