I literally cried in the subway during my daily commute, thank you for the masterpiece Quadeca <3
BK THAT BE MY MOTHEFUCKIN' COMPANION. THEM HORNS THOUGH !!!!!!11
The Cure if they were your cool drunk uncle.
At times, the album feels too experimental for my liking, but the artistry is undeniable. Tracks like Veneficium, Common Loon, Sleep Blv., and T.D.F.T.W. are absolute masterpieces. Surprisingly, the St. Anger-esque snares on some tracks really complement the songs. Unfortunately, Pale Flower falls a bit flat for me. The second half of the album shines much brighter than the first, which boosts its overall score for me. Definitely a must-listen!
This album was my childhood; I must have listened to it dozens of times, so saying it holds a special place in my heart is an understatement. The beginning of the album is a treat, full of energy—pure dad rock/grunge. But it tastefully mellows out into a more introspective state in the second half. In my opinion, these are the real gems of the album, like Garden and Release. A must-listen!
This album is a testament to why I believe these guys were the greatest when it came to grunge. It’s an incredibly comforting record, the kind that makes you want to bawl your eyes out and become one with the music. No words can truly capture the brilliance of these legends.
Sadly the two last tracks aren't as strong, since they really don't match the rest of the album aesthetically but its still an awesome listening experience !
