Today I saw Scream 7 with my family. It was pretty good. It's been a while since I've seen the first six, but that's ok, I still somewhat understood. My sister was shaking the whole time. Honestly, I've never understood how the Scream movies are seen as thrilling or scary. I think they're all funny. Then I went home to where I am now, lying in bed.
This record was my first exposure to instrumental hip-hop, and it definitely left a good impression. The turntablist and sample-based production leads the project into an experimental, atmospheric experience with mellow vibes and catchy beats. Overall, this record is an incredible project that, while is far from perfect or a masterpiece, is a starting point that I feel was likely best for me.
