Definitely the type of album musicians give a 9/10 but a non musician a 6/10. Still can't quite understand the bandwagoning behind earrape noise music continually getting high praises on these sorts of sites vs actual technicality of the instruments.
One of the more Pitchfork albums, if you know what I mean. The circlejerk train continues.
Easily their best and catchiest album. Don't know what the Tastes Like Music guys were saying about Hall's voice. It might not be Freddie Mercury but it's good early 80s pop. It's certainly better than Huey Lewis. Lewis sounds like crap compared to Hall.
