The most tolerable of her most recent releases. Still not good though. Especially on the vocal production side of things with that crappy touch of distortion and sometimes wonky autotune. I've lost faith in this artist to make good music. Bad singing, flat production, questionable mixing, boring writing ect. Something needs to radically change if things are going to improve
Waited 5 years for Kevin to drop for him to forget how to make rewarding song structures, make questionable mixing choices and have songs be devoid of lyrical and emotional content for most of their runtime.
Ironically I feel like some of these songs needed to be longer with verses added and some time for the listener to marinate between psychedelia, rave beats and introspection... Mixing doesn't hit very well especially those electric guitars. The radio vocal adlibs are cringe. Productions isn't anything to write home about and I don't really care for the lyrics. Positives are the main vocals are decent and the song isn't longer than it needs to be.
