That was nice. I think it's a job well done giving some of the tracks room for the instrumental to fill out the background, but also giving other tracks a lot of elements so it doesn't make the listener get bored like background noise or putting electronic beats that results to dreamy beats. Very ethereal, very spacey-vibes, very good.
I don't wanna flood my review with criticisms, but all I want to say is that, 'I hope you have a great time making music whilst growing a supportive community. Because producing music and uploading it on the public might be scary without knowing what people might say.' because one of the reasons why I didn't like this album cause most of the tracks felt repetitive, some quite annoying, or just really forgettable.

This was a solid album with a few highlight tracks that show strength for the album, albeit some were underwhelming. If I were to make a list for this album, there are and will be more positive things to point out about it like the dreamy production and smooth mixing of some tracks; and when it hits hard, it leaves a hole. However some tracks felt like filler because they don't really add anything or they're pretty forgettable.
But this album holds a ... read more
I love to be a part of the listening experience and to be introduced by this album. You did good work here despite you saying you were feeling a lil dissapointed about it; I think it's fine considering the fact that it's your debut. This album for me sounded like "frutiger aero" that were from some niche 2000's game. I'm not gonna lie that there were some low bar tracks because they felt similar as other tracks, or they were just underwhelming. I hope more people ... read more
Boring. Generic, Uninterested.
I don't know why I thought this was gonna be a "2015"-esque album, but I sorta had high expectations.
Lead single "Aperture" managed to be the better tracks off this album despite the fact how boring the song is.
Summarising the whole album, this sounds more country than disco.
One of the better R&B hits in the 00s are in this album.
R&B hits from the 00s (maybe even 90s) have grown off me by a lot due to how repetitive it had gotten, and realising that they were pretty cheesy. Now when I look at Alicia Keys, I do not feel that discomfort. It feels fresh from the other hits that were also in this period. The points that I find appealing with this album is more on the production of the instrumentals, they were easy to digest yet the flavour is able to last ... read more
i would've enjoyed this album a lil more if it wasn't repetitive with most of the songs, despite that it was a chill listening experience.
A really nice LP debut.
Some of the songs sound reminiscent to previous Tame Impala projects, and ironically managed to do better than him this year.
But I see mad potential from them and this is set to at least appeal to a certain audience.
I'm looking forward for their new projects and I'm happy to be riding along.
A reflection of Fujimoto's journey of becoming a manga artist while setting the grim incident of the Kyoto Animation arson attack.
I think the soundtrack does a great job of displaying the tone of the movie, despite it being short.
Even if I'm a year late, highly recommend watching the movie.
The guy is talented, I can say. The songs here are pretty good and has really good production put out in this album
But I don't feel like the gimmick of becoming like The Weeknd isn't gonna work out for the long run (I can even hear the vocals and beats sounding like previous Weeknd songs, which by the way isn't totally a bad thing).
Which may sound hypocritical on my part because of Abel himself being inspired by Michael Jackson.
But The Weeknd has previously mentioned that ... read more
I can't really explain it, but I really loved this a lot.
Thank you, AJR.
Every time I encounter any "giddy kids movie with the message is being happy song" in anyplace like this one, it just makes me sad. Maybe because there's so many of these song that try to make you be happy making it feel so fake and corporate like some songs you play on a depressing workplace.
I always loved this version more than the Drake one. The Weeknd's vocals and the beat here carries a lot.
One of the best anime soundtracks ever. Each track fits during a certain scene, mood, or tone on the anime which I truly appreciate as this soundtrack helps create some of the most iconic scenes of Death Note.
people are a bit overdramatic of this song's theme and lyrics, and whoever these people are need to stfu and just enjoy the song putting that aside, nice song
